How do I ask customers for a Google review through my feedback message?

Turn on Google reviews in your feedback message, so customers can leave you a review in one click after their appointment.

You can ask a customer for a Google review in the same feedback message they already get after their appointment. Read on to see who this is available for and how to switch it on.

Can I use this?

You can send feedback messages on the Basic or Pro plan, or on the Appointments plan with the Boost add-on. Reserve with Google also has to be connected and active for your business already, which only works for an account with a single location.

How do I turn this on?

  1. Go to 'Feedback' in the sidebar.

  2. If Reserve with Google is already active for your business, you'll see a toggle called 'Get more reviews on Google'. Turn it on.

  3. If Reserve with Google isn't connected yet but your business is eligible, you'll see a card with an 'Enable Book with Google' link instead.

Once the toggle's on, a button is automatically added to the feedback message customers get after their appointment.

What does my customer see?

Next to the usual question about their appointment, your customer sees an extra block in the feedback email with a button to leave a review. That button opens your business's own Google review page directly.

Can I use this with more than one location?

No. Reserve with Google only works for an account with exactly one location, so this setting doesn't either.

Why can't I find this setting?

Check that your plan supports feedback messages first. If you can see 'Feedback' but not the Google toggle, Reserve with Google isn't connected or active for your business yet.
